B is for Brisnehan and A is for Aiden, C is for Chris and K is for Kacey...now that we have talked about some of our ABC's, let's talk a little more about our Family, which begins with the letter F!!
Chris and I got married on December 28, 2007 in Georgetown, TX. Two years and 3 months later Aiden came a long. I could go as far back as when Chris and I met, but that would be a long story. So you know, this is not the first blog I have attempted. To keep a long story short...
Chris and I met at work. We were chosen to work on a team to mentor and motivate other enrollment counselors. It was a 9 week program. During that time we became really good friends. We learned a lot about each other. As much as I held back to get in a relationship, a larger part of me knew I couldn't hold back any longer. We went on several dates before I finally told him that I was ok with being committed. Funny I know. I've never been one afraid of committment in the past. Ever since we met, my life has changed so much. Chris is amazing and is always there for me. So, we met in April of 07, started dating in July and he proposed in September of the same year. He proposed at Wild Horse Pass Resort and of course I said YES!!!!

Chris and I were married December 28, 2008 in Georgetown, Texas in an absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast. We were surrounded by close family and few friends who decided to make the drive. The longest drive included me, my brother and my cousin Jason from the Phoenix area to Georgetown, straight through....it was a very long drive....but definitely worth it. The day was beautiful and the night was frigid, did I mention it was an outside wedding. My line consisted of my sister, my best friend Joyce, love ya girl, and Chris's sister Michelle. Then Chris had my brotherk, my cousin Jason and our good buddy Sam who made the trip....and Southwest lost his luggage on the way home...still waiting on a check aren't you Sam? The cake was wonderful, the colors were great, everything went through without a hitch. It was a fairy tale wedding....

Chris surprised me one day by having the Missionaries over for dinner. From that point on he began the discussions. I was so greatful that he worked on finding his testimony. From the time we dated Chris was open with attending church with me. My friend said if he can sit through 3 hours of church without complaining he would be ok. We started going to our ward in Maricopa when we moved in around March and from then on Chris's enthusiasm took off. We immediately developed some great relationships with some of the families in our ward and not took long after moving in the ward had split. It has now been easier to get to know people. After several weeks of having the missionaries over, Chris decided to be baptised. As mentioned previously I had surgery on May 5th. Well, Chris's baptism was on May 3rd. My parents and grandmother were able to come out for Chris's baptism and for my surgery which we both really appreciated. Chris asked my brother Joseph to baptize him and my dad confirmed him that Sunday. Monday I went in for surgery, but life was great.

Look at this cutie pie! We were blessed with Aiden on March 13, 2010. He was 7lbs 3 oz and just the sweetest thing I ever saw. My labor was not that pleasant, especially since I didn't get an epidural until I was 10 centimeters and had been pushing for a while. Around 2:30am (I can't remember the exact time) Aiden graced us with his presence. I don't know what we would do without him. Now it's May 15, 2011. He is all over the place and such a smart little boy. There will be plenty more to come on him I ensure you that!
This is just the short version to an introduction of our family! Thanks for joining us!!
